Non-EPM Kscope Speakers I Am Excited About!

Let’s face it – Oracle is a big, big world that extends beyond Hyperion.  As we all know, Oracle picked up Hyperion about 7 years ago or so.  I’m not as much on that side of the house so I could not be as excited about specific sessions on the traditional side, but I do know many of the speakers personally and professionally.  Here is a list of the people I know (trust and respect!) will deliver a quality technical education.  I have listed their Twitter handles so you can follow them (mine is @EPM_Queen):

Danny Bryant will be presenting on Monday from 3:45 – 4:45 on Database Migration: DBA Stuff for the Non-DBA.  Danny is a blast…you will not be disappointed!  @dbcapoeira

Stewart Bryson will be presenting on Wednesday from 2 – 3 on Agile Analytics and Oracle Business Intelligence Repository Bootcamp  Lots of knowledge regarding BI in that head! @stewartbryson

Martin D’Souza will be presenting on Monday from 11:15 – 12:15 on Just Log It and Tuesday from 11:15 – 12:15 on APEX 5.0 New Features.  Listen to the expert…  @martindsouza

Jerome Franciosse will be presenting on Monday from 1:15 – 2:15 on ODI’s new features.  Smart guy who is coming up the ranks.  @jeromefr

Tim Gorman will be presenting on Slowly Changing Dimensions on Monday from 2:30 – 3:30 PM, Tuesday on Three Types of Data Compression from 8:30 – 9:30.  He recently joined Delphix and is an ODTUG board member…go take a look!  @timothyjgorman

Kent Graziano will be presenting on How He Saves His Clients $$$ by Creating the Best Data Model the First Time on Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30, 5 Cool Features in Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler on Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:30.  I think he likes those early time slots…  @kentgraziano

Kellyn Pot’Vin will be presenting on how to build a VM lab on your laptop on Tuesday from 3:30 – 5:45, Not Your Father’s Enterprise Manager on Wednesday from 9:45 – 20:45.  She recently joined Oracle…I wonder what secrets she will be sharing?  @dbakevlar

Jeff Smith will be presenting on Oracle SQL Developer Tips and Tricks on Tuesday from 4:45 – 5:45, My Favorite SQL Developer Data Modeler Features on Wednesday from 4:30 – 5:30.  He likes the late slots…all passing through 5 o’clock.  Coincidence?  I think not. @thatjeffsmith
