Following Philippe Lion‘s tweet yesterday, below, I decided to check the Oracle BI Public Store today for the new “Quadrant” visualization.
After I pasted the zip file into \AppData\Local\DVDesktop\plugins, it was available for use in DVD.
I decided to use one of my standby datasets that has transit utilization data. To use a box/quadrant visualization, you need 2 numerical data elements and at least 1 attribute element. I chose 2.
As a cyclist, I decided to compare the transit station’s Bike Access Score to the Number of Bicycle Racks, color grouped by their Station Type. I picked these 4 data elements, right-clicked and selected “Pick Visualization”.
Select the Quadrant visualization.
And, voila!
